Stitcher's Challenge!
Thanks to all of the stitchers out there, we are growing by leaps and bounds!
In an effort to thank you for your support, we have decided to present
a Stitcher's Challenge. Here's how it works:

You purchase and stitch any one of our patterns and send us a digital photo to post on
our site.
All patterns must be purchased, stitched, photographed and sent
to us by September 30, 2006.
We will post the pictures to our PHOTO GALLERY as
they come in. If you do not have access to a digital camera, please contact us for entry
instructions.

You will need to include your name, address,
email and your favorite local Needlework Shop.
Also, please tell us which category you are competing in.

Then, we will have a Viewer's Choice vote for the winners in FALL 2006!
Voting instructions will be posted once the submissions are in.

Here are the categories you will be competing in:

1. Most creative change of materials
That's right - since there really are no cross stitch police, we encourage you
to make it your own! Change the fabric size or color, some of the fibers, or
whatever you like. Embrace your inner artist and make it your own!
The viewers will vote for their favorite.

2. Most Original Framing
Some of us just HAVE to frame every piece and hang it right up.
This is your chance to show off your talent (or your favorite framer!)
I know many of my pieces just wouldn't look the same if it
weren't for Amanda Baxter at Carolyn's Frame-Up in Lakeland, FL.

3. Most Unusual Non-Framed Finishing
This one is my personal favorite. I am constantly challenging myself to
come up with new and different ways to finish and show off my stitched pieces.
If you are a stitcher who is so far outside the box, you don't know what box I'm
speaking of, this may be your chance to shine!

4. Lastly, there will be a Best Of Show
award for an all around terrific piece of stitching.

Each category will have a GRAND PRIZE, 1st Place, 2nd Place and 3rd Place winners.
AND, when you win, your shop wins, too! Since your entry is not eligible without the
name of your favorite Needlework Shop, whatever prize you win, your shop wins, too!

Each stitcher may enter multiple categories, and multiple pieces. However, you may only
stitch each design once. *Due to stitcher request, we have allowed entries into more than
one category.

Please email all submissions to
jodi@designsbyjodievans.com with your name,
address, email, shop name, category you are entering, and a photo of your piece. We will
send you an acknowledgement when it is received. If you do not receive an
acknowledgement, or you do not see it posted shortly after the acknowledgement, please
contact us and let us know. (Our office line is (863) 660-7571. When calling please
identify yourself as a challenge stitcher. Thanks!)

Good Luck!
